Story Behind the Sale

This was a newly renovated 3-bedroom home in Redcliffe (a coastal suburb in the Moreton Bay region north-east of Brisbane). The owner told us that she has been considering going ahead with another staging company, but then she found us and decided to engage our services, because of our warm and homely styling. Nawww… take that magazine-style photos!

Living Room

We couldn’t wish for a better blank canvas with dark timber floors and open-plan living space. Targeting towards first home buyers and young families, we’ve decided to dress this home in the ‘Evergreen Style’. Black & green together is a universal and continual combination that never goes out of fashion, which explains the name ‘evergreen’. It also resonates incredibly well with that level of buyer.

Kitchen/Dining Area

The kitchen had a lot of beautiful high-end finishes throughout, like the gold-look tapware and handles, stone benchtops and built-in table. We didn’t want to take the buyer’s attention away from these features, so we’ve decided to style the kitchen with a minimalistic approach and only a handful of decorations.

Zoning & Blending

Finding the right balance between

clearly distinguishing each area
but making sure they style stays the same throughout the house

is a challenge our Property Stylists face on the daily.

In this home, the differently-coloured dining chairs and barstools were intended to optically separate the kitchen from the dining area. To blend the style in the living space with the kitchen/dining, we’ve replicated the black & green palette in the lounge with the same-coloured dining table centrepiece.
