I started by asking Caleb what was the last book he read….
The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller.
What does your typical day look like?
Exercise, appointments, a lot of phone calls and coffee to keep me going through the day.
What’s your favourite real estate agent joke?
I can’t say I know any good real estate jokes but I do love a good laugh. I’m a bit of a comedian at times.
What is the biggest challenge that you face each day at work?
It would have to be managing my time.
If you had the ability to fix one thing in the industry, what would it be?
The perception a lot of people have on real estate agents. Slowly but surely, through one client at a time, I believe I can make a difference.
In your experience, what is the main reason for sale contracts falling through?
The building & pest inspection report. It’s always a good idea for the vendor to have a report done at the start, or before selling, so there aren’t any surprises.
When you walk into a home for the first time, what makes you relax and think that the sale will be an easy one?
I’m generally a very calm person and I can relate to people easily and quickly. These traits help a lot when I meet potential clients for the first time.
A lot of people will Google a person, or a service, prior to hiring them. How has this easy access to information and digital screening changed your process?
From the start, I’ve really pushed social media so people know who am I and what kind of person I am, behind the suit.
Do you think that social media has potential in advertising property sales?
Yes, definitely.
What gets you excited?
Loving what you do always helps! I am very lucky to be doing what I am.
