This modern 1-bedroom apartment was a joy to style! Located in the heart of Gaswork precinct, just a stone-throw away from the Brisbane River – an absolute dream for anyone looking to enjoy everything that Newstead has to offer.
Story Behind the Sale
This unit has been put on the market around a year ago, styled by a very high-end provider. Unfortunately, it hasn’t sold. After a discussion with the vendor, she felt that the styling has completely missed the target market (which is not unusual).
We had a quick look at some of the photos and couldn’t help but agree with the client’s thoughts. The previous styling company targeted towards the downsizer market, which didn’t resonate too well with the actual demographic interested in purchasing this apartment.

Living/Dining Area
We’ve decided to focus on targeting affluent and professional executives, who are in the market looking for an investment opportunity or a home close to the office.
That is why we chose the Contemporary Design with lots of elements that are currently trending – like oak, rattan, and leather, combined with subdued colours. These modern features are familiar with the buyers, which is going to help them build that emotional connection necessary for committing to the purchase.
