When I first started out Home Staging, I wanted to find the best staging products, for the lowest price. I would look for knick knacks, frames and linen that would last a number of seasons and not only suit the current trend. Eventually, I came up with a little black book of trusty suppliers. A list of places, where I can visit and not be disappointed. As home staging is all about your return on investment, these shops also offer great value for money.  Best of all, they also offer online shopping! Perfect if you live too far from department stores, if you don’t want to take your little ones to shops without kids corners or if the only time you have to shop is at night in your pj’s! Today, I’m going to share my top 5 Stores to Visit when accessorising your staged home.

This is the place to go for bedding, pillows and towels. They have a great selection of current trends and neutrals, with kids stuff as well. Their range of home wares is beautiful but unless it’s in the clearance section, I find them a little pricey. Flat rate of $11 shipping, unless items are bulky.

Beacon Lighting – Lighting

IKEA – Furnishings, Furniture and Outdoor Inspiration

Hemnes Bedside from IKEA

Who doesn’t love IKEA? Some pieces are a bit exy but overall, you should walk out with a good selection of well priced pieces. I am particularly fond of their coffee and side tables, which on some days, cost as low as $9 for members. At the moment, delivery is available to those in WA and SA only but it won’t be too much longer until other States are added to the list.

Spotlight – Window Coverings

Current Catalogue

With ready made and custom options, Spotlight is the place to go for window coverings. They stock everything, from roller blinds to curtains. I particularly like their 50 % off everything sales…..it’s well worth the wait, as custom made blinds are included. While there, have a look at their home wares sections also. Flat rate of $9 shipping, unless items are bulky.
